Terms & Conditions
Last updated — September 11, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Payaries's managed crypto payment gateway (the "Service"). By creating an account, generating an API key, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
01Acceptance of terms
By registering a merchant account, creating an API key, or integrating with the Service in any way, you confirm that you have the authority to bind the business or individual you represent, and that you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
02Description of the service
Payaries is a multi-chain, multi-asset crypto payment gateway that holds funds for you. When you create an invoice, Payaries generates a one-time deposit address; once a customer payment confirms on-chain, your ledger balance is credited, and the deposited funds are subsequently swept to a Payaries wallet dedicated to your account on that chain.
The Service operates on real, production blockchain networks. There is no test network mode — "test mode" refers to an unapproved account tier, not a simulated environment. All transactions, including those made with test-mode API keys, involve real, spendable value.
03Eligibility & account registration
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during signup and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, API secrets, and webhook secrets.
Newly created accounts are placed in a pending status and may create test-mode API keys immediately. Live-mode API keys, and any live transaction activity, require prior approval of your account by Payaries. Approval may be withheld or revoked at Payaries's discretion, including for failure to satisfy applicable compliance requirements.
04Merchant obligations
You agree that you will:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including anti-money-laundering and sanctions regulations in your jurisdiction and your customers'.
- Not use the Service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or the sale of illegal goods or services.
- Keep API keys, API secrets, and webhook secrets confidential, and immediately revoke any key you believe has been compromised.
- Keep enough balance in your prepaid fee wallet to cover fees where applicable. You do not need to hold native currency (such as ETH, BNB or TRX) in each chain wallet; you can top up the prepaid wallet with any supported coin or token.
- Payaries is built to be transparent, and the balances and transaction figures in your dashboard are intended to be accurate. You are still welcome to cross-check any transaction or balance on-chain using a public block explorer, for example if a network is delayed or congested.
05Fees & settlement
Payaries may apply commissions on deposits and withdrawals, which are disclosed to you through your ledger and transaction history. Fee schedules may vary by merchant and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Withdrawal requests are debited from your available balance only; funds credited but not yet swept to your Payaries wallet ("pending sweep") are not withdrawable until settlement completes on-chain.
06Withdrawals & approvals
Withdrawals initiated from your dashboard session execute immediately and are treated as self-authorized. Withdrawals initiated via API key are subject to the auto-approve threshold you configure for each chain and asset; amounts at or above that threshold require your explicit approval from the dashboard before they are processed. Payaries is not responsible for withdrawals sent to an incorrect destination address supplied by you or your systems — blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed.
07Risk disclosures
You acknowledge and accept the following risks inherent to using a crypto payment gateway:
- Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and can change materially between invoice creation and settlement.
- On-chain transactions are irreversible once they reach finality; Payaries cannot reverse, cancel, or recover funds sent to a valid blockchain address.
- Network congestion, protocol upgrades, or chain-specific incidents may delay deposit detection, sweeps, or withdrawal broadcasts.
- Some chains and assets supported for deposits may have limited withdrawal functionality at any given time (see current chain coverage in our Services page).
08Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payaries and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or funds resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including losses arising from third-party blockchain network failures, incorrect destination addresses, or unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your credentials.
09Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Payaries harmless from any claim, loss, or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your misuse of the Service.
10Suspension & termination
Payaries may suspend or terminate your account, revoke API keys, or restrict live-mode access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or pose a risk to the integrity of the Service. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and a path to withdraw any available balance owed to you.
In extreme cases only — to protect against fraud or a security threat — we may place a temporary hold on all or part of a balance while we investigate. A hold is not part of routine review, and the held amount stays yours: it is shown in your dashboard as a separate figure until it is released.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Payaries is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where local law requires otherwise.
