A crypto payment gateway for businesses in Dubai and the UAE

Price the order in a fiat amount, let the customer pay in USDT, USDC or another supported asset on the network they already use, and get a signed webhook when it confirms. Online, API-first, with no nodes to run — from Dubai or anywhere else.

01Why stablecoins suit a Dubai business

The dirham is pegged to the US dollar, so a dollar-denominated stablecoin such as USDT or USDC is the closest crypto equivalent to the money a UAE business already thinks in. Customers in the UAE and abroad can pay in a dollar stablecoin without either side taking exchange-rate risk on the price of the goods.

On Payaries you create an invoice with a fiat amount, Payaries converts it at creation and locks the rate for that invoice, and the amount due doesn't move while the customer pays. Our integration examples are written in USD; ask connect@payaries.com if you need to price in another currency.

02Who uses a crypto gateway in the UAE

  • Online stores and SaaS products based in Dubai that sell to international customers and want to take stablecoin payments without a card processor in the middle.
  • Agencies, freelancers and service firms invoicing overseas clients, who want a dedicated deposit address per invoice instead of reconciling one shared wallet by hand.
  • Travel, events and marketplaces with customers in many countries, where one integration that covers several networks beats a separate wallet per chain.
  • Trading and B2B businesses that settle in stablecoins and need a clean ledger, webhooks and an audit trail on every payment.

03How a payment works

  1. 01Your backend calls POST /v1/invoices with a fiat amount and the network and asset you want to accept, for example USDT_TRC20 on Tron.
  2. 02Payaries returns a one-time deposit address and locks the rate. You show the address and the network at checkout.
  3. 03The customer pays. The invoice moves pending → detected → confirming → confirmed, and your ledger is credited when the required confirmations are reached.
  4. 04A signed invoice.status_changed webhook tells your backend, so you can release the order.
  5. 05You withdraw to any address on demand — from the dashboard, with two-factor authentication, or from the API.

Each step is described in how a crypto payment gateway works, and the networks and asset IDs are on the USDT payment gateway page.

04Networks to offer your customers

Payaries covers Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum and Tron for deposits and withdrawals, and Bitcoin for deposits, with more networks being added — GET /v1/chains has the live list. Many customers hold USDT on Tron because transfers there are cheap; others will prefer a network they already use. Offering two or three at checkout means fewer abandoned payments. USDT on TRC-20, ERC-20 and BEP-20 compared explains the trade-offs.

05Regulation: check before you launch

Each merchant has a dedicated wallet per network, never pooled with other merchants, and its live on-chain balance can be checked on a block explorer. Payaries holds the wallet for you; what that means for control and risk will help you decide whether it fits your own compliance position.

06Good to know

  • Test-mode API keys work immediately, with no approval step; live keys are issued once your account is approved. There is no testnet — test keys transact on real networks, so your first test is a small real payment.
  • Crypto transactions are irreversible once confirmed. A refund to a customer is a separate transaction that you send.
  • Fees are configured per merchant, optionally by network, asset or amount — ask sales@payaries.com for a quote.
  • Payaries does not take dirham or card payments; it takes crypto, and you withdraw crypto.

Questions

Can a Dubai or UAE business use Payaries?
Payaries is an online, API-based gateway, so a business can integrate it from anywhere. Whether your business may accept or hold crypto depends on UAE rules and your own registration and licensing, which Payaries can't advise on — speak to a UAE-qualified adviser first.
Can I accept USDT and USDC with Payaries?
Yes. USDT is supported on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum and Tron, and USDC on Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and Arbitrum, with more networks being added. Call GET /v1/chains for the live list.
Can I price in dirhams?
Payaries's documented examples price invoices in USD, and the rate is locked when the invoice is created. The dirham is pegged to the dollar. If you need another pricing currency, ask connect@payaries.com.
Does Payaries convert crypto to dirhams or pay out to a UAE bank account?
No. Payaries credits you in the crypto your customer paid and you withdraw it on demand to any address you control. Converting to dirhams is a separate step you take with an exchange or other provider.
Is the platform in Arabic?
No. The website, dashboard and documentation are in English.
